For Parents

Peppa Holiday has lots of fun and exciting games for children to play based on the Peppa Pig Holiday TV episode. The activities range from a swimming race where children can race against each other to making and decorating their own pizza.

Exclusively for this app, there is a short video to watch of Peppa singing the Sky High song, a delight for any young Peppa Pig fan.

Children will enjoy the variety of games and are rewarded with stickers that they can use to create their own postcards in the Postcard Sticker Book.

Top Tips

Listen to the narrator and follow his advice and prompts throughout the game.

Five stickers are available in the sticker book at the start of the game. Keep playing the games to win stickers. The more stickers you have the more creative you can be when making your own pictures.

Look out for the ☆ Reward notes throughout this guide.

This is the exit door button. Press it at any point in the game to quit the current game and go back to the previous menu.

Press Play to start the game or press and hold the Grown Ups button to access extra functions and services we think are better handled by grown‐ups.

Touch the Exit Door to return to the Play screen.

User Profiles

Up to 3 separate profiles can be created, each with their own sticker book, reward system and settings. You can change a user during play by tapping the exit door and then keep tapping the exit door on each screen and it will eventually take you back to the profile screen. If you delete a profile, you will lose any stickers you have won.

Main Menu

From here you can select all the activities as well as changing the user Settings.

At the Airport

This game is in 2 parts, first the luggage has to be loaded onto the conveyor belt and then it needs to go through the X-ray machine.

Load the Luggage
Drag the correct number of bags specified by the narrator onto the conveyor belt. Touch the green arrows button at the bottom of conveyor belt to move the luggage on.

As the game progresses, it gets slightly more difficult as you will need to load not only the correct number but also the correctly coloured bags onto the conveyor belt. You must correctly place bags on the conveyor 10 times in order to move to the next part of the game. To remove a bag, touch the bag on the conveyor belt that you want to remove.

X-ray the Bags
Once all the bags have been loaded onto the conveyor belt they pass through the x-ray machine. You must remember and correctly match the item(s) in the bag that is being x-rayed.

Find the correct item by scrolling through the items at top of the screen using the arrow keys. When you see the correct item, touch and drag it to the bag shown in the x-ray machine.

Initially there will be only 1 item to remember, but as the game progresses 2 items appear in the bag and must be correctly matched.

If the wrong item is dragged into the bag, then the item is shown again and if the wrong item is dragged into the bag again, a voiceover informs the child what item they need to find.

☆ Sticker Reward: A sticker is won when every piece of luggage has been loaded onto the conveyor belt and the items within the bags are correctly matched to the x-ray.

Going to the Beach

In this game, you must help Peppa and George to get ready for the beach.

Peppa
Touch the swimming costume that you want Peppa to wear. You can try all the costumes on Peppa if you want. To change the swimming costume that Peppa is wearing, just touch the costume in the top bar that you want her to wear. Touch the tick when she is wearing the costume you like best.

Touch the accessories that you want Peppa to wear to the beach. You can choose as many as you like. To remove an item, touch it again in the top bar. Touch the tick when you are happy with what Peppa is wearing and she is ready for the beach.

Touch the bottle of sun cream and then rub it all over Peppa. Keep rubbing until all the sun cream is used up.

George
Touch the swimming trunks that you want George to wear. You can try all the swimming trunks on George if you want. To change the swimming trunks that George is wearing, just touch the swimming trunks in the top bar that you want him to wear. Touch the tick when he is wearing the swimming trunks you like best.

Touch the accessories that you want George to wear to the beach. You can choose as many as you like. To remove an item, touch it again in the top bar. Touch the tick when you are happy with what George is wearing and he is ready for the beach.

Touch the bottle of sun cream and then rub it all over George. Keep rubbing until all the sun cream is used up.

Beach Bag
Touch any of the items at the top of the screen to put them into the beach bag.

You must put at least 8 items into the bag, but you can have more if you wish.

If you change your mind and want to remove an item from the basket, touch the greyed out image of the item on the top of the screen.

When you are happy with the items that you have in the basket, touch the tick.

At the Beach
Touch anything or anyone in the beach scene and see what happens.

❈ Touch Peppa to make her throw the ball. Keep touching Peppa and sometimes she snorts!

❈ Touch George and Peppa will throw the ball to him and he returns it. Keep touching him and occasionally he will snort!

❈ Touch the spade and Peppa digs a hole in the sand

❈ Touch Daddy Pig or the umbrella and Daddy Pig puts it up and touch Daddy Pig or the umbrella again and Daddy Pig takes it down.

❈ Touch the crab and he gives Daddy Pig a quick nip with his claws!

❈ Touch Mummy Pig and she gets something out of the basket.

❈ Touch the sandcastle or the bucket and George jumps on the sandcastle and then makes another one.

❈ Touch the exit door when you had enough and want to play a different game.

Note: there is no Sticker Reward for this game.

Swimming Race

This game is a multi‐player game which can be played singularly or with up to 4 players

Note: Irrespective of the number of players playing, there are always 4 characters playing the game.

Select one character for eachplayer. Drageach character into one of the semi-circles or finger pads Touch the tick when all the players have selected a character.

Note: A single player plays against the other 3 characters in the game. In all games, a player plays against the other 3 characters, irrespective of the number of players that have chosen to play the game.

T ap your character's finger pad to make them swim faster. The more you tap the faster your character will swim. Keep tapping and see who wins the swimming race.

☆ Sticker Reward: A sticker is won when the race finishes.

Postcard Sticker Book

There are 4 postcards to choose for your picture and a total of 25 stickers to win during the game.

Backgrounds

❈ Holiday Villa
❈ Town Square
❈ Beach
❈ Airport Road

To create a postcard, touch the background you want to use.

Stickers - there are 25 stickers in total. Five stickers are available at the start, so a picture can always be created. Other stickers are won by playing the games. Stickers are awarded in the order in which they appear in the scrolling bar at the top of the screen from left to right.

To create a picture, touch and drag the stickers from the scrolling bar at the top of the screen, onto the picture. Once you have placed a sticker, you can always change your mind and move it somewhere else. Just touch it and drag it to its new place.

Stickers can be increased and decreased in size once they have been placed on the background picture. To make a sticker bigger, place 2 fingers on the sticker and move them away from each other in a stretching movement. To make a sticker smaller, place 2 fingers on the sticker and move them towards each other, in a pinching movement.

There is no limit on the number of stickers that can be placed on a background.

To remove a sticker, drag it anywhere onto the scrolling bar at the top of the screen.

Messages can also be added to your postcard. To access the messages, touch the ABC icon on the scrolling bar.

There are 5 messages available and these are:

❈ Wish you were here!
❈ Missing you!
❈ Having a lovely time!
❈ We got lost again!
❈ We're having lots of fun!

To add a message, touch the message you want and drag it onto the postcard. When a message is selected, a voiceover of the message is played so that you know what it says.

Messages can be increased and decreased in size once they have been placed on the background postcard. To make a message bigger, place 2 fingers on the message and move them away from each other in a stretching movement. To make a message smaller, place 2 fingers on the message and move them towards each other, in a pinching movement.

To remove a message, drag it anywhere onto the scrolling bar at the top of the screen.

Postcard stickers and messages are saved automatically when the child exits the postcard that they have created. If the child returns to a postcard, any changes are also saved automatically. Only the one postcard image can be saved for each background.

Ice Cream

Can you make a lovely ice cream for Peppa and her family. There are 3 different games available;

Matching Ice Creams
You must match the ice cream shown on the screen.

Touch the cone that matches the ice cream displayed on the right of the screen.

Touch the ice cream colour that matches the ice cream displayed on the right of the screen. If the ice cream shown has a double cone and there are 2 different colour ice creams, select the colour of the one on the left first and then the colour of the ice cream on the right.

Touch the toppings to match those on the ice cream displayed. If there is more than 1 topping, the toppings can be selected in any order.

☆ Sticker Reward: A sticker is won for every 10 ice creams matched.

Matching ice Creams against the clock
This time you must match all 10 ice creams before the time runs out.

Touch the cone that matches the ice cream displayed on the right of the screen

Touch the ice cream colour that matches the ice cream displayed on the right of the screen. If the ice cream shown has a double cone and there are 2 different colour ice creams, select the colour of the one on the left first and then the colour of the ice cream on the right.

Touch the toppings to match those on the ice cream displayed. If there is more than 1 topping, the toppings can be selected in any order.

☆ Sticker Reward: A sticker is won for every 10 ice creams matched before the time runs out.

Free Play Create Your Own Ice Cream
Why not create your own favourite ice creams. You must create 10 ice creams of your own design to win a sticker. The mechanics are the same as for the other two games.

Let's Make Pizza

In this activity, you can make a pizza for Peppa and her family and decorate it with the toppings of your choice.

Touch each of the ingredients to add them to the bowl. Both ingredients must be added. Now touch the wooden spoon and move it around the bowl to mix together.

Move your finger over the ball of dough to knead it. Then use the rolling pin and move it up and down over the dough to roll it out.

Next we need to add the tomato sauce. Touch the bowl of tomato sauce to add it to the dough and use the spoon to spread the sauce over the dough.

Move your finger down the dotted line to cut the green pepper. Keep moving your finger down the dotted line to slice the whole pepper.

Move your finger down the dotted line to cut the tomato. Keep moving your finger down the dotted lines to slice both tomatoes.

Move your finger down the dotted line to cut the pineapple. Keep moving your finger down the dotted line to slice the whole pineapple.

Move your finger down the dotted line to cut the onion. Keep moving your finger down the dotted lines to slice both onions.

Touch a topping to add it to your pizza. You can add as many toppings as you want. Touch the topping icon again to remove a topping from the pizza.

When you are happy with the toppings on your pizza, touch the tick button (on the top of the screen) to get more toppings.

Drag toppings from the new selection onto your pizza. You can add as many toppings as you want. To remove a topping from the pizza, drag it off the pizza.

When you are happy with the toppings on your pizza, touch the tick button (on the top of the screen) to cook your pizza.

Now it's time to cut up your pizza. Drag your finger down the dotted line and then across the next dotted line from left to right to slice your pizza into quarters.
