For Parents

Peppa Pig ‐ Polly Parrot has lots of fun games for children to play, from matching pairs and dot‐to‐dot to creating amusing sentences for Polly Parrot to copy. They can even explore Peppa's house too when they play Hide and Seek. As they play, children are rewarded with stickers that they can use to create their own pictures in the Sticker Book section.

Top Tips

Listen to the narrator and follow his advice and prompts throughout the game.

Five stickers are available in the sticker book at the start of the game. Keep playing the games to win stickers. The more stickers you have the more creative you can be when making your
own pictures.

Look out for the ☆ Reward notes throughout this guide.

This is the exit door button. Press it at any point in the game to quit the current game and go back to the previous menu.

Press Play to start the game or press and hold the Grown Ups button to access extra functions and services we think are better handled by grown‐ups.

From here you can select all the activities as well as changing the user Options.

Settings

You can switch the game Music On and Off,
using the or buttons.

Credits shows you who has been instrumental in making this app.

Reset Scores allows you to set the scores in all the games to zero. Press the tick to do this or the cross if you have accidentally selected this option or changed your mind.

Reset Stickers deletes all the stickers that have been won during play. If you do this only the 5 default stickers will be available in the sticker book. This facility allows you to play the games and win stickers again. Press the tick to do this or the cross if you have accidentally selected this option or changed your mind.

Talking Parrot

Touch Peppa to make her say the sentence depicted by the pictures in the series of 3 squares. Polly copies anything that Peppa says. Listen to the silly sentences that you have made.

Touch any of the squares to change the pictures and make a silly sentence. Touch Peppa to hear the sentence you have created, Polly will repeat it.

Press different squares to make other silly sentences. Touch Polly to make her squawk or touch George to make him snort.

Touch the exit door to go back to the games menu when you are finished.

☆ Sticker Reward: A sticker is won for every 10 sentences that Polly says.

Feed Polly

It's time to feed Polly some crackers, but watch out, you must get the number and colour correct or Polly will be unhappy.

There are two game modes. Easy where there is only one colour of cracker - yellow and you need to feed Polly with the correct number of crackers. Hard has crackers in two colours - red and yellow. You need to feed Polly with the correct colour and number of crackers and the crackers may need sorting to obtain the correct coloured cracker.

Yellow Crackers only
This is the easiest game. Polly will ask you to feed her a certain number of crackers. Drag the correct number of crackers to Polly's beak so she can eat them. Each cracker that Polly eats scores a point.

Touch the exit door when you are ready to go back to the games menu.

☆ Sticker Reward: A sticker is won for every 20 crackers that are fed to Polly correctly.

Yellow and Red Crackers
Drag the correct number of coloured crackers that Polly has requested to her beak. Each correct cracker that you feed to Polly earns a point.

The coloured cracker you want may not be on top of either pile. If this is the case, drag the unwanted cracker(s) at the top to the other pile. Make sure you don't go near Polly's beak otherwise you could accidentally feed her the wrong coloured cracker.

If you feed Polly the wrong coloured cracker, you lose all the points earned for that particular request from Polly. So if Polly has asked for 3 red crackers and you feed her 2 red crackers and then a yellow cracker, you will lose the 2 points that you earned for the 2 correct red crackers that you fed her.

Touch the exit door when you are ready to go back to the games menu.

Where's Polly?

This game can be played as either Free Play, where you can play as long as you like, or Against the Clock.

Against the Clock

Polly is hiding in one of the rooms or in the garden and you must try and find her. See how many times you can find her before the time runs out.

Swipe the screen left and right or touch a door to move from room to room and to the garden.

Touch the objects in the scene to see if Polly is hiding behind any of them. When you find Polly, she flies out and goes to hide somewhere else.

You earn a point for each time you find Polly.

The game ends when you run out of time

Free Play

This time you can take as long as you like to find Polly as many times as you want to.

Matching Pairs

This game can be played Free Play or Against the Clock. In both modes, you can choose to match; 6 cards, 8 cards or 12 cards.

Against the Clock

Select the number of cards that you wish to match. See how many pairs you can match before the time runs out.

Touch a card to turn it over to see the picture, and then touch another card to see if it matches.

Once two cards have been turned over and if they don't match, they will automatically turn back over.

When 2 cards match, the pair of cards will remain face up on screen and you win a point.

If you correctly match all the cards and have not used up all the time, you are automatically sent back to choose another set of cards to play. Keep playing and see how many pairs you can match in the time.

Free Play

Select the number of cards that you wish to match. See how many pairs you can match, you can take as long as you like.

Dot to Dot

In this game you can choose 3 different ways to join the dots and have 4 different pictures to choose from.

Select the picture you like best - Peppa, Polly Parrot, George or the Rocket.

Select your preferred method for completing the dot to dot.

Touch the stars in a clockwise direction and the line is automatically drawn between the stars to complete the dot to dot picture.

Once you have completed the dot to dot image, press the exit door to go back to the menu to choose another picture.

☆ Sticker Reward: A sticker is won for every completed dot to dot picture.

Sticker Book

There are 8 backgrounds to choose for your picture, and a total of 45 stickers to be won by playing the games.

Stickers are awarded in the order in which they appear in the scrolling bar at the top of the screen, from left to right. Five stickers are available at the start, so a picture can always be created.

To create a picture, first touch the background you want to use. There are 8 to choose from; Sandy Beach, Snow, Forest, The moon, Palace, Roadworks, Swimming Pool or Rocky beach.

Now touch and drag the stickers from the scrolling bar at the top of the screen, onto the picture. Once you have placed a sticker, you can always change your mind and move it somewhere else. Just touch it and drag it to its new place.

There is no limit on the number of stickers that can be placed on a background.

To remove a sticker, drag it anywhere onto the scrolling bar at the top of the screen.
